Why We Can’t Get Enough of Cut-Outs

There is nothing quite like some hot, new activewear to pump you up for a workout. In fact, I treat my exercise gear as fashion. I always want to look as stylish as possible when I’m working out, to make up for the blotchy, red face and sweat running down every inch of my body. Staying on top of trends helps and the mesh and cut-out craze is still one of the hottest in activewear right now, taking you from the studio to the street, in style.

You’ll find cut-outs and mesh detailing everywhere right now, from sports crops to tights, and tees. Be it cut-outs covered over with mesh or those simply revealing bare skin, it’s a trend that will keep you looking stylish while you pound the pavement. It’s also an effective option for high-octane sweat sessions, as any mesh will dry faster and breathe better than other fabrics, keeping you cooler.

I am obsessed with these Lululemon mesh tights. Not only have these got a cute cut-outs around the ankle to up their fashion cred, they’re also made of super compression fabric, so they hug you in all the right places. You can wear them to the gym, for a leisurely stroll or for your Saturday supermarket run. They’d even be great for travelling. I paired them back with a simple slim fit tank, with its own mesh venting, meaning it is super comfortable and made for anything from running to yoga.
