I am really enthralled by the appearance of Lake Louise. It seems to be enveloped in a mysterious halo which renders it even more charming. The hike is indeed a magical one and what really makes it all the more attractive is the fact that the trail is pretty secluded. It would have been quite an experience just listening to voices of nature as you moved on in your hike.

Every time I see pictures of Canada I know it’s an impressive place. The one thing I didn’t realize is that there’s usually a crowd of people trying to take pictures and simply hiking the many lakes and views. I guess I got the impression from all the beautiful pictures I’ve seen that these places were deserted haha. Anyhow, love all your shots and it was great to read about each different place.

Skye, your photos are BEAUTIFUL! I’ve always wanted to visit Banff national park and had only heard of Lake Moraine before reading about Lake Agnes. The tea house at the top is now on my list along with stopping at mirror lake just like you did. From the photos I’d never have guessed that its so crowded up there but I’ve been hiking in Asia lately so I hope that wouldn’t bother me. Thank you for sharing!

I have lived in BC my whole life and I still haven’t explored this area:( We are really hoping to get out to do some hikes in the rockies next summer. I love that there’s a tea house on this trail!
